Final event of the “Progressing with Smaller Steps” sub-granted project
28 Sep 2018
The series of final events dedicated to the completion of the sub-granted projects implemented under the "STRONG CSOs" project has been launched.
Thus, on 27 September 2018 we were present at the “Progressing with Smaller Steps” project’s Final event on the project results and achievements. The project was implemented by “Orran” BNGO and “Youth Canal” NGO.
The aim of the project was to promote the role of women in the socio-economic, civic and cultural life through development and effective use of their acquired skills in different fields like hairdressing, manicure, sewing, etc. Young women aged 18-40 from Mets Parni, Lernantsk, Arevashogh, Margahovit, Kurta, and Panik communities of Lori Marz, and Nor Kyank, Marmashen, Hovuni and Jajur communities of Shirak marz, participated in the project. Thanks to the project, they will be able to establish their own businesses and provide services in their communities, which will ensure their and their families' sustainability.
During the event the talented participants were provided with professional tools and devices.
We are thrilled to see that this project has really brought the expected positive change and can be considered as a successful experience.
