We are glad to introduce our experts Hakob Avagyan and Suren Mkhitaryan, who conducted pro bono consulting sessions within the scope of the training on Social Entrepreneurship, implemented last week by the “STRONG CSOs” project.
The first pro bono consulting meeting was on “Legal aspects of starting and running a Social Entreprise”, which was led by the Executive Director of SME Cooperation Association Hakob Avagyan. We would like to express our gratitude to Mr. Avagyan, as this was the third pro bono consulting meeting conducted by him.
During the meeting Mr. Avagyan presented the specifics of creation of social enterprises and nuances of taxation, advantages and disadvantages of engaging in entrepreneurial activities, the requirements for documentation, etc. on basis of many practical examples.
The next meeting was provided by the Executive Director of the “International Center for Intercultural Research, Learning and Dialogue” NGO Suren Mkhitaryan. It was on the existing SE support mechanisms and the Association of Social Enterprises of Armenia. A special thank you to Suren for his time and effort, and for sharing the useful information with us.
